Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been assured by Mikael Silvestre that he can continue to pursue the goals for the title for 2009-10 second half campaign.

Because of all the injuries to the first regulars during the African Cup of nations, Silvestre, who has spent most of his time watching the games as a bench warmer may finally be called up to play in the next coming weeks.

Silvestre, 32 years old, is eager to show Arsene Wenger that he is valuable after only earning four Premier League outings during this term and admits it was hard not being involved regularly.

On the official website of the club Silvestre claimed his frustrations but said he has to be prepared for opportunity because it’s all the name of the game. He said he’s fit and ready to play any position and wants to use his experience to help out the team during the second half.

Whether he is fit or unfit, it is tough to say at this point of time. A free bet is the best way to rate him and his performance. Even Wenger will come to know whether he is in demand among the fans or not.
